CHOC Glass Slipper Guild Gala at Big Canyon Country Club
In May 2013 employees of Bryson Financial attended the CHOC Glass Slipper Guild Gala at the Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach. Executive Admin, Amanda Kenning, is a first year member of the Guild that raises money for Children's Hospital of Orange County. Rick Bryson, Trent Bryson, Brett Hlista and Amanda Kenning were all in attendance to this year's gala which raised over $300,000+ for the hospital. For the first time Bryson Financial donated a live auction item which raised $12,000 for the event.
Amanda looks forward to being on the executive board of the guild next year where she will be in charge of secondary fundraising, which will include a Fashion Show at Bloomingdales where Costa Mesa Firefighters and patients of CHOC rock the runway with all proceeds from shipping that weekend going towards the hospital.
Bryson would like to thank the Glass Slipper Guild for all they do and we are grateful to be a part of such a great organization and cause.

Dancing For Our Stars
Memorial Medical Center Foundation is pleased to present its Third Annual Gala, "Dancing for Our Stars" celebrating the Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. The ballroom extravaganza will take place on Saturday January 22, 2010 at The Westin in Long Beach. I invite you to join me for this toe tapping event and appreciate your considering a sponsorship.
My wife, "Bree Bryson" is amongst six members of Long Beach's local community hard at work at Arthur Murray Studios, preparing for what is sure to be an incredible swinging dance competition. Throughout her months of training, I will be garnering financial support from friends, family and local businesses, as all monetary donations collected prior to and on the evening of the competition represent "votes" in her favor.
How you can help? Become a Sponsor, put together a table, attend the event, donate on Bree's Website (live on October 11th) and vote with dollars the evening of the event.
In lieu of live and silent auctions at the Gala on January 22nd , the Heart and Vascular Institute will benefit directly through the crowd's generous gifts supporting the dancer or dancers of their choice in the evening's competition. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted on January 22nd during the voting process and everyone is encouraged to participate. After the winners are crowned, the dance floor will open so that all in attendance can strut their stuff.
Please consider joining me in becoming a sponsor of Bree! Attached please find the sponsor opportunities and reply form.
Should you have any questions or inquiries on additional underwriting opportunities, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or Michele Roeder at 562.933.1671 or email@example.com.
Let's bring it home for Bree and the Heart and Vascular Institute!

The New City School is a not-for-profit organization that operates three, high quality, bilingual, public charter schools in Long Beach, California. We believe that all students have something special inside of them and will shine given the right opportunities and environment. Our students learn to be critical thinkers and well-rounded members of their communities through an academic program that integrates art, music, language, social justice, and community participation.
New City Schools Mission:
- The New City School a model for urban learning in the 21st century
- We will provide a thoughtful, healthy, intimate environment in which community building is valued over competition.
- Through a curriculum enriched by the arts, technology, and the natural environment, we will teach students to develop into independent critical thinkers who demonstrate expertise in reasoning and problem solving, English and Spanish literacy, creative expression, and historical perspective.
- Toward these goals, the families and the staff of The New City School will work together as partners to understand the needs and interests of the students, to act in the service of justice, and to extend learning opportunities into the home and community.
